John Carsins ~ Sheriff of Harford County, Maryland & one of the Old Defenders of Baltimore in 1814

August 21, 2009

Kathy – I would look at F. Edward Wright’s book on Maryland Militia, War of 1812, Vol. 3 – Cecil and Harford Counties.  That gives in detail about the different Militia companies that were in Cecil and Harford Counties.

As for the Barnes & Bailey Cemetery aka Coen Hill Cemetery off of Earlton Road in Havre de Grace, Maryland I do have some pictures….  That came from a descendant of one of the families that is buried there.

Endangered Maryland Cemeteries?

August 21, 2009

Do you know of an endangered cemetery in Maryland cemetery?  I would like to hear from you….

Our ancestors that came before us all have their own story to tell.  It is up to us as their descendants to tell their story.
